Description

Pilgrim Cottage is a house that dates back to the 16th century, with an extension from the 18th century and alterations made in the 20th century. The building features flint with brick dressings on the left side and timber framing with brick infill on the right. It has a plain tile roof and brick ridge stacks, forming an L-shaped plan. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a four-window range. There are 20th-century glazed doors on the left and at the end of the cross-wing on the right. The windows have an irregular arrangement of casements. The end of the cross-wing showcases a cruck frame, and there is a gabled dormer. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
