Description

This building is an outbuilding located approximately 30 meters southwest of No. 71, known as The Doctor's House. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and has been altered in the mid 20th century. The structure features weatherboarded timber framing with some brick and a thatched roof. It consists of a 2-bay stable and a 4-bay cowhouse. The stables are largely intact, while the cowhouse has been enclosed with brickwork, replacing its original open front and end wall. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, there is a clasped-purlin roof with curved inner principals. This building is included for its group value.
