Description

The walled garden, located approximately 250 metres east of Chiselhampton House, dates from the 16th and 17th centuries, with some elements from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and has walls that are mostly built in irregular bond, forming a roughly square shape. The walls feature a stepped plinth, and the north-west corner displays chevron and diaper patterning in blue headers. Part of the east wall is missing. It is likely that the walls incorporate sections of the earlier house that was replaced between 1766 and 1768 by Chiselhampton House.
