Description

This is an early 19th century cottage constructed of red brick with a low-pitched slate roof and wide eaves. It is a two-storey building with two windows. The windows are reproduction 3-light casements with glazing bars, intended to resemble those of the early 19th century. A modern door is centrally placed. The building is listed at Grade II for group value, forming part of a wider group that includes numbers 5 to 35 (odd), and 45 to 65 (odd) Old Timbers and Friday Cottage and number 73, together with numbers 4 and 6, number 10, numbers 14, 14A and 16, numbers 54 and 56, The Anchor Hotel, and Baltic Cottage and Baltic House Thameside on the opposite side of the street.
