Description
23 Crocker End is a house dating from the 17th century, with a possible 18th-century cross-wing to the right. The ground floor features flint on the left and painted brick on the right, while the first floor has timber framing with brick infill on the left and render, possibly over timber frame, on the right. The building has a baffle entry plan and is two stories tall with a three-window range. There is a 20th-century sash door with a 20th-century porch to the left and a 19th-century casement window to the right. The first floor has three 19th-century casements. The roof is gabled and hipped, with a cross-gable to the right, and features a ridge stack and a stack on the cross-gable. The right return displays exposed thin timber framing. The interior has not been inspected. There is also a subsidiary single-storey, one-window wing to the left.
