Description

This is a brick kiln, likely built in the late 17th century, with some later alterations. It features a conical brick structure that stands approximately 10 meters high and has a base diameter of about 7 meters. There are brick arched doorways on the north and west sides, and a dentil cornice at the top. It is noted to be the only remaining estate kiln of its period and of local design. Nettlebed was known as a brick-producing area until the early 20th century.
