Description

No. 6, Watlington Street is a cottage dating to the 17th century, with alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of rendered timber-framing, with a plain old tile roof and a brick stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has a single-window range. A 20th-century sash door leads to a flat-roofed porch on the right side. A 20th-century bow window, supported by brackets, is centrally located on the ground floor, with a single window to the left. A three-light casement window is located on the first floor. A ridge stack is situated to the left. The timber frame incorporates brick infill, and a queen-post roof truss is visible on the right return. The interior has not been inspected.
