Description

The Old Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It features a rendered exterior, likely built on cob, with a thatched roof and brick stacks at either end. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. To the left of the centre is a sash door with a gabled hood supported by brackets. There is a single-light window to the left, while the centre and right sections have three-light wood casements. To the right of the centre, there is a two-light wood casement. The cottage also has three swept dormers and is noted for its extensive beaming inside.
