Description
Gable Lodge is a house dating from the late 17th century, constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings. It features an old plain-tile roof that is half-hipped on the left side and has brick stacks at both ends. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. On the right side, there is a 20th-century ribbed door with a flat hood supported by brackets and a segmental brick head. To the left and center, there are two horizontal sash windows with segmental brick heads. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors, and there are two horizontal sash windows on the first floor. The eaves are adorned with a dentil brick course. The interior has not been inspected. There is also a 20th-century two-story, single-window extension on the right side. The building is included for its group value.
