Description
Gardener's Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century, with some later alterations. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the upper part features large timber framing with brick infill. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and there are brick stacks, one at the left end and another at the right of the center ridge. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. There are plank doors located to the left and right of the center, and the windows are an irregular mix of 20th-century casements. The building also has three gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Wheatfield Cottage.
