Description

Plough Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century. It features painted brick and timber framing at the center of the ground floor and the first floor on the right, with painted brick infill. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and there is a brick stack at the right end. The cottage has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range. A plank door is located to the right of the center, with two 3-light wood casements to the left and two more to the right. On the first floor, there are also two 3-light wood casements. A 20th-century flat-roofed dormer is situated in the center. The interior has not been inspected.
