Description

Manns Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century, although it has been altered in the 20th century. It features a painted brick base and large timber framing with painted brick infill, topped by an old plain-tile hipped roof. There is a brick ridge stack at the center with a diagonally set flue. The layout follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan and the building is two stories high with a two-window range. A plank door is located at the center, and all openings have 20th-century windows. Inside, there is an open fireplace on the left side of the ground floor and extensive beaming throughout.
