Description
Devonshire House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the 17th century. It features large timber framing with painted brick infill, and the end of the cross wing to the left is also made of painted brick. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and there are brick ridge stacks located to the left and right of the center. The building has a U-shaped plan and consists of two storeys with four bays.
The facade has a two-window range with cross wings on both the left and right sides. A plank door is positioned to the left of the center, and there is a six-light wood casement window in the center. To the left end of the cross wing, there is a three-light wood casement window, and another three-light wood casement window is located in the center of the first floor. Additionally, there is a three-light wood casement window at the end of the cross wing to the left. The gable end of the cross wing to the right features a queen-post roof truss. The interior has not been inspected.
