Description

Smiths Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with later alterations. The building features timber framing on the left side with rendered infill, and the center and right sections are also rendered, likely on timber framing. It has an old plain-tile hipped roof and a brick ridge stack located to the left of the center. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window range.

There is a part-glazed plank door positioned to the left of center, which is sheltered by an open brick porch topped with a hipped old plain-tile roof. To the right of the door, there is a two-light metal leaded casement window, and to the right of center, a four-light metal leaded casement window. On the left side, there is another two-light metal casement window. The first floor features two-light metal leaded casements in the center and right, and a four-light casement on the left. A cross-gable is located at the center, which includes a two-light casement. The right return of the building displays timber framing, while the left return is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings, and the first floor on the right is tile-hung. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there is a wall forming a forecourt and a brick wall to the left with angled coping.
