Description

The Nook is a house that likely dates back to the early 17th century. It features a rendered plinth and large timber framing with rendered infill, topped by a thatched roof. There are brick ridge stacks located at the center and right of center, as well as a lateral stack on the front left. The building is single storey with an attic and has a four-window range that runs at right angles to the street. A plank door is situated to the left of center, which is sheltered by a gabled old plain-tile hood. The windows are irregularly arranged casements, and there is a swept dormer on the right side. Inside, there is a queen-post roof truss visible on the right return gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
