Description
Blagrave Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early 17th century and has some alterations from the 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick and features an old plain-tile roof that is hipped to the left. There are brick stacks at both ends of the house. The farmhouse has an L-shaped plan with a cross wing at the left rear and is two stories high, with a three-window range that is positioned at right angles to the street. A 20th-century half-glazed door is located to the left of the center. The windows are irregularly arranged casements. The first floor of the left return has timber framing with rendered infill. The rear of the building is made of irregular coursed square limestone with red brick dressings. Inside, there is a moulded spine beam on the ground floor to the left.
