Description

The northern pair of gate piers at The Manor House, dating from the 17th century, are constructed from limestone ashlar. Each low pier features a richly-moulded cornice that breaks around shallow projections on each face. The large ogee-shaped cap is topped with a stone ball. These gate piers flank the entrance path to The Manor House.
