Description
Fair Mile Hospital Lodge is a lodge built around 1870 by C.H. Howell. It is constructed of red brick, featuring grey brick relieving arches above the doors and windows. The building has an old plain-tile complex roof and a central brick ridge stack. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has a four-window range. There are plank doors on both the left and right sides. To the left and right of the center, there are three 8-pane sash windows with common segmental brick heads. A round flat-roofed turret is located at the left corner. To the left of the center, there is a cross-gable with a paired 4-pane sash window, and to the right of the center, an eaves dormer features a crow-stepped gable with another paired 4-pane sash window. The left return has a crow-stepped gable as well. The interior has not been inspected. This lodge is included for its group value.
