Description

Ferry Cottage is a house dated 1759, located in South Stoke, Little Stoke. The building features red brick with grey headers and remnants of colourwashing, topped with an old plain-tile roof that is hipped to the right. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The entrance includes plank doors with gabled hoods positioned to the left and right of the centre. The ground floor has three-light wood leaded casements with segmental brick heads on the left and centre, and a two-light wood casement on the right. The first floor features three-light wood casements, except for a two-light wood casement on the right. A dentil course runs along the eaves, and there is an outshut at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
