Description
The Waterloo Inn is a former hotel built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of painted red brick and features a hipped slated roof with overhanging boarded eaves and tall brick end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and includes an attached range of outbuildings. It stands two storeys high with a cellar and has a single-storey, two-window extension to the north, as well as a full-height bowed bay on the east facade. The main facade is symmetrical, featuring a central entrance and three first-floor unhorned sash windows. The south facade has two entrances with brick gabled porches. The bowed bay contains three 16-pane unhorned sash windows on each floor. The interior has not been inspected.
