Description
Little Stoke House is a house dating from around the early 19th century, with an extension added around the 1830s. The house is stuccoed and has low-pitched slate roofs with decorative brackets. It has rendered chimney stacks topped with yellow clay pots. The interior is arranged with two main rooms at the front and a central entrance hall. A circa 1830s extension projects to the right, into the garden, and a 20th-century conservatory is present on the left side.
The front facade is two storeys high and symmetrical, with three bays to the left and one bay to the right. The left bays have 16-pane sashes, while the first floor centre sash is smaller, with a rounded top; a central porch has panelled pilasters and a glazed door. The right bay has a 16-pane sash on the ground floor and a 12-pane sash above. All windows have louvred shutters. The right-hand return has 12-pane sashes on the first floor and French casements on the ground floor, also with shutters; the ground floor window on the right is blind. The rear elevation has 12-pane sashes on the first floor. The left return features 16-pane sashes on the first floor and the aforementioned 20th-century conservatory. The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
