Description
Sarragossa House, located at No 13 on New Street, is a 19th-century facade added to an earlier house. The building is stuccoed and features a hipped slate roof with bracketed eaves. It stands three storeys high and has four windows along with two narrow panels on the first and second floors, all framed with moulded architraves. The sash windows, except for those on the second floor, include glazing bars. The entrance boasts a six-panelled door topped with a fanlight. Inside, there is a notable staircase. Sarragossa House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 33 (odd) and Nos 2 to 76 (even) opposite, along with the walls associated with Nos 32 to 38 (even) and No 40.
