Description

Nos 3 and 5 on New Street are mid to late 19th century buildings made of red brick with white brick decorations. They feature moulded eaves and have a slate roof. The buildings stand three storeys tall with a basement, and each has one window, although No 3 has a modern bay window on the ground floor. They are listed as Grade II for their group value, as they are part of a collection of buildings that includes Nos 1 to 33 (odd) and Nos 2 to 76 (even) on the opposite side of the street, along with the walls associated with Nos 32 to 38 (even) and No 40.
