Description
These are 16th or early 17th century timber-framed cottages. The ground floor facade has been rebuilt using brick and flint, while the first floor retains timber framing covered in roughcast and colourwashed. The roof is covered with old tiles. The cottages are two storeys high with two windows. The first-floor windows are small, two-light casements with iron frames, and the ground-floor windows are three-light windows. There are two ledged doors. The buildings form part of a group with numbers 2 to 76 (even) and numbers 1 to 33 (odd), alongside the walls associated with numbers 32 to 40 (even).
