Description

Abingdon House is an early 18th-century house that was remodelled in the mid-19th century. The front of the building is stuccoed, with a gabled roof covered in 20th-century tiles. A 20th-century brick stack is located on the front right. The house originally comprised two units. It is two storeys high, with a two-window front. The house has a 19th-century plank door and mid-19th-century horned sash windows. A raised storey band runs along the front. A rear range was added in the mid-19th century. The interior features chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. The roof was remodelled in the 20th century. The building was formerly The Abingdon Arms public house and is included on the list for its group value.
