Description

Shepherd's Barn is a barn dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It features 20th-century weatherboarding over a timber frame, set on a brick and flint plinth, and has a gabled roof covered with 20th-century tiles. The barn has an aisled three-bay plan that includes a stable or shelter shed with a loft on the left side. The interior boasts a queen-post roof made of heavy scantling, with clasped purlins, braces, and jowled posts.
