Description

This barn, located 40 meters southeast of Sheepcote Farmhouse, dates back to the early 17th century. It is constructed of timber framing and features black weatherboarding, topped with a gabled roof made of corrugated iron. The barn consists of five bays and has a lean-to on the west side, along with large doors on the west elevation. At the south end, where the ground slopes steeply, there are high brick plinths. The frame is made of chestnut wood, with jowled posts and extra low purlins above the door opening.
