Description

The Old Vicarage is a house of around 1846, originally built as a vicarage. It is constructed of squared coursed stone with ashlar stone details, and has a slate hipped roof with lead ridges. A rendered brick stack is situated to the left of the centre of the building. The house has two storeys and a three-window facade. The front features a 6-panel door in the centre, topped with an overlight and framed by a stone architrave surround and a cornice supported by brackets. A sill band runs along the ground floor. The ground floor windows are 12-pane sashes with flush rusticated surrounds on either side of the door. A sill band also runs along the first floor, and above it are 9-pane sashes with similar surrounds. A moulded stone cornice runs along the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
