Description
The Limes is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of roughcast on a brick base and features a slate roof with a brick stack on the left side. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. The central entrance has a six-panel door and is flanked by a 19th-century lattice porch with a gabled slate roof. All window openings have 12-pane unhorned sashes, except for the first-floor center which has a 9-pane unhorned sash. There is a flat band between the ground and first floors, and the eaves are bracketed. Inside, there is a three-light wood mullion window in the staircase area.
