Description
Henrietta is a house located on Dorchester High Street, dating from the 17th century and refronted in the mid to late 18th century. The building features rendered rubble with a brick front in Flemish bond, including some flared headers, and has an old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. It has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The symmetrical front has two windows and a six-panel door situated under a flat canopy supported by shaped brackets, flanked by 16-pane sash windows. The first floor has smaller 16-pane sashes, and all windows are topped with segmental arches. The rendered rear of the building has lower eaves and includes two small dormers with leaded casements. The interior has not been inspected. It is suggested that Greensleeves may have been a rear wing of No. 38.
