Description
Greensleeves is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, possibly even earlier. It features rendered timber framing with a colourwashed brick front and a plain-tile roof that has a brick ridge stack. The building has a single-unit plan and consists of one storey plus attics. The front of the cottage has a stepped brick plinth, with a door to the left and a 2-light 20th-century casement window to the right, both set under segmental arches. There is also one gabled dormer. The right gable wall is timber framed, and the roof has a stack positioned towards the right gable. Inside, there is a large fireplace with an 18th-century wooden surround. It is possible that this cottage was originally a rear wing to No. 38 (Henrietta).
