Description

Stonor Cottage is an early 18th-century farmhouse, now a house, located on the west side of the village street in Pishill with Stonor. It is constructed of colourwashed brick to the front and flint to the rear, with an old tile roof and brick stacks. The building follows a three-unit outshut plan and has two storeys, presenting a three-window front. The windows are C19 casements, with a C20 addition above the original C19, and are set within segmental brick arches. A brick eaves band runs along the top of the facade. The roof is gabled, with stacks at the left end and along the ridge. The interior was not inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
