Description

This granary, located approximately 15 meters northwest of Yew Tree Cottage, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It stands on staddle stones and features weatherboarding over a light timber frame, topped with a pyramidal roof made of old tiles. The structure has a plank door. Inside, there are jowled and braced posts, and the roof consists of a two-bay collar-truss design with curved under-principals and clasped purlins. The granary is included in the listing for its group value.
