Description

Wheelwrights is a house located in Cuxham, with origins dating back to the late 17th century. It features square timber framing with brick infill and has a gabled thatched roof with a brick stack at one end. The house has a two-unit plan and two storeys, with a three-window range. The front includes a 20th-century door with a timber porch and a 20th-century glazed door to the left. There are also 20th-century casements and half-dormer casements. The left gable wall displays an exposed cruck blade. To the right, there is a short 20th-century extension built with similar materials. Inside, the house has timber-framed partitions, chamfered beams, and an open fireplace on the left.
