Description
27 St Clements Street is a house and shop with an 18th-century front, built on what is likely a 17th-century structure. The building features three storeys, with a stucco finish and timber framing, topped by an ancient half-hipped tiled roof and a brick stack. On the first floor, there is a three-light 18th-century sash window set in a moulded wood frame. The second floor has a modern two-light casement window. The north elevation, or back, is constructed of rubble and includes two-light casement windows, giving it a late 17th-century appearance. Additionally, there is an ancient plain wood door frame that leads to the cellars.
