Description
Jesus College's Principal's Lodging, located in the North Range, was originally built around 1485 and later reconstructed circa 1625 by Sir Eubule Thelwall. The gables were replaced with an embattled parapet between 1733 and 1741, and further additions were made in 1886 using Milton stone. In 1920, the South front was refaced in Clipsham stone, while an early 18th-century shell hood above the doorway was left untouched. The interior features early 17th-century panelling and a fireplace.
