Description
No. 7 Brewer Street is a house that likely originated in the 17th century but was refronted in the late 18th century. It is two stories high with gabled attics and features a Welsh slate roof. The ground floor is finished in stuccoed stone, while the upper part showcases roughcast timber-framing. On the ground floor, there is a slightly-bowed window with a moulded wood cornice above it, and a modillioned cornice that extends over the plain-framed front door. The first floor contains two 18th-century sash windows, each with 16-paned heavy glazing bars and a moulded architrave above. The attic windows are two-light casements. The rear of the house is rough-cast and retains a 17th-century appearance.
