Description

Holy Trinity Vicarage is a house located at 15 Littlegate Street, dating from the 17th century, likely built after the fire of 1644, with 18th-century additions to the south. The north range from the 17th century features two storeys, constructed of ashlar and timber-framing, and includes cellars. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, and there are modern yellow brick stacks. The late 18th-century sash windows are notable, as is the early 18th-century north doorway, which has a flat hood supported by moulded scrolled brackets.

The early 18th-century south range is positioned at right angles to Littlegate Street and also has two storeys, made of stuccoed stone. It features a large central pedimented stone gable with a round-headed window, attic dormers beneath a Welsh slate roof, and six sash windows set in deep reveals. The east end facing Littlegate Street includes an 18th-century sash window on the first floor, complemented by a wrought iron balcony.

Inside, the northeast room boasts panelling from around 1700. The first floor contains some 17th-century doors and an 18th-century overmantel. The 18th-century range features contemporary panelling and a staircase.
