Description
No 8 Turn Again Lane is a house that likely dates back to the mid-17th century. It is a two-storey, double-fronted structure made of stuccoed rubble, featuring two large gabled attics with casement windows. On the first floor, there are two double casement lights, while the ground floor has two three-light 18th-century sash windows. The central doorway is framed by a flat-keystoned architrave, supported by stone brackets that hold up a flat stone hood. The rear facade retains a 17th-century appearance, with exposed rubble walling and two gables. The building was restored in 1972. No 8, along with Nos 9 and 10, forms a group.
