Description
No 9 Turn Again Lane is a house that originated in the 17th century and was altered in the late 18th century. It features a two-storey stuccoed front with two gabled attic dormers, each with three-light casements positioned at different levels beneath a modern red tiled roof. At one end, there is a moulded stone base stack topped with an 18th-century red brick shaft. The first floor has two three-light casement windows, while the ground floor includes four 18th to 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars, along with a central doorway that has a plain moulded wood frame from the 19th century and a bracketed hood. The building was restored in 1972. Nos 8, 9, and 10 form a group.
