Description

No. 5 Holywell Street is a house that likely features an 18th-century front added to an earlier timber-framed structure. It has a narrow, three-storey façade with an attic window in the gable, beneath which is a moulded eaves cornice. The building is topped with a Welsh slate roof and has brick stacks. The upper portion is roughcast, while the ground floor is stuccoed and includes a three-light sash window. The upper floors also have sash windows, all set in moulded wood frames with glazing bars. Inside, there is a door with early 17th-century panelling. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of Holywell Street.
