Description

10 and 11 Holywell Street is a house that dates from the 17th to 18th century. It features a three-storey front made of stuccoed timber framing and has cellars. The building has a slight overhang at the first floor, a moulded eaves cornice, a small parapet, and brick stacks. There are four sash windows with glazing bars; the windows on the first floor are set in moulded wood frames with architraves. Number 10 has a modern bracketed wooden hood over the doorway, which is accessed by three steps with iron handrails. Inside, number 10 includes an original fireplace, while number 11 features bolection-moulded panelling. All the listed buildings on the north side of Holywell Street form a group.
