Description
No 12 Holywell Street is a house that likely dates from the 17th to 18th century, although it has been altered over time. The building is three stories tall and features a stuccoed timber frame with cellars. It has a slight overhang at the first floor, a moulded eaves cornice, a small parapet, and a yellow brick chimney stack. The front has two sash windows set in moulded wood frames, which include modillioned architraves and glazing bars. There is an early 19th-century doorframe. At the back, there are modern yellow brick extensions. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of Holywell Street.
