Description
No. 14 Holywell Street is a house dating from the 17th century, which was remodeled in the 18th century. Originally a two-storey timber-framed structure, it now features a built-out attic floor topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof, replacing what were originally two gables. The building has brick chimney stacks. To the west, there is a coachway, and the ground floor includes a modern three-light sash window. On the first floor, there is one sash window set in a moulded frame with a plain lintel, alongside a modern casement window located over the coachway. The attic floor contains two modern three-light casement windows. At the back, to the north, there is a brick extension with a modern brown tiled hipped roof. All the listed buildings on the north side of Holywell Street form a group.
