Description

MERTON COLLEGE 1. 1485 Front Quadrangle South Range Fitzjames Gateway SP 5106 SE 9/480H 12.1.54. I 2. Built circa 1500, restored 1905. Gatehall has original vaulting. Adjoining on North East is part of former C15 Warden's lodging which retains its vault, repaired 1812; to East of this is a good mid C17 well staircase.
