Description
Merton College's South Range Fitzjames Gateway, built around 1500 and restored in 1905, features an original vaulted gatehall. To the northeast, there is a section of the former 15th-century Warden's lodging, which still has its vault, repaired in 1812. Adjacent to this is a well-preserved mid-17th-century staircase.
