Description

Merton College, located in St Alban's Quadrangle, dates back to 1485. The college was rebuilt on three sides between 1904 and 1907 using Weldon stone, following designs by Basil Champneys. The North elevation of St Alban's Hall, constructed in 1599, remains unchanged, although a top storey was added to it during the 1904-1907 renovations.
