Description

The presbytery of the Church of St John the Evangelist, located on Iffley Road, dates from the late 19th century, likely around 1896, coinciding with the construction of the church. It is built of ashlar in a 17th-century style and has two storeys with four windows. The ground floor features three-light mullioned and transomed windows, while the upper floor has two and three-light mullioned windows, all of which are fitted with leaded lattice casements. The building also includes an arched doorway and is topped with a slate roof.
