Description

This is a 16th-century dovecote located approximately 10 meters north-north-east of The Old Rectory and Dovecote End in Kidlington. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a conical stone slate roof. The dovecote has a circular plan and includes a timber lintel above a 20th-century plank door. Inside, there are doveholes with ledges and roof timbers dating from the 16th or 17th century.
