Description

Manchip House is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Horsefair in Deddington. It is constructed from coursed squared marlstone and features wooden lintels, with a concrete plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has two windows, with a six-panel door positioned to the left of center, a four-pane sash window to the right, and a canted bay window to the left. On the first floor, there are two-light casements. Notably, to the right of the entrance, there is a monolithic mounting block that projects from the wall, with a deeply recessed front. The interior has not been inspected.
