Description
The eastern of a pair of garden urns located approximately 50 meters to the north of Middleton Park dates from the 18th to early 19th century. Made of limestone, the urn is egg-shaped with a gadrooned design and sits on a square plinth. It features garlands of festoons and has a moulded finial and stem. This urn is one of a pair that remains from the earlier mansion and is possibly the work of Thomas Cundy. It is included for its group value.
